On March the 30th Coral Products PLC attended the UK Investors show, held at the Queen Elizabeth the 2nd Conference Centre, in Westminster London.
This was a great opportunity to meet with investors, shareholders and people keen to learn more about our business, how we are investing, developing and seeking opportunity in innovation and design, and making our mark within the manufacturing industry as “one to watch.”
All subsidiaries were represented, (Coral Products (Mouldings) Ltd, Interpack Ltd, Global One Pak Ltd and Tatra Rotalac Ltd,) samples of injection moulded, extrusion and blow moulded products were available for attendees to view. Alongside this array of samples Coral Products (Mouldings) Ltd latest innovative product of the 23 litre Fox Proof Food Waste Caddy, was on display.
This product has been tested within a wide range of urban and rural areas and has met the challenges set by foxes and other wild creatures, domestic pets have also been unable to open the caddy, proving this innovative design to be a way forward for many councils and local authorities.
Many positive conversations took place with great interest in our recent investments within recycling, the recent launch of the groups recycling plant based in Haydock, opens opportunities many other businesses within plastics are unable to achieve. Closing the loop and creating a circular economy business process, for all subsidiaries is paramount for the ongoing success of Coral Products PLC as a “plastics company with a conscience.”
Mick Wood, our Chief Executive, explained: “It is an exciting time at Coral Products PLC. There is increasing demand for this type of facility as improved recycling is an area high on most people’s agenda. It will enable our business to satisfy both our internal business recycling targets in addition to driving the profitability of the business. We are confident that recycling is going to become a major and profitable part of Coral’s business in the future.”
The plant can process plastic Polypropylene and HDPE materials and has a capacity of a tonne an hour. In addition to utilising waste produced on site, Coral Products (Mouldings) Ltd are buying in waste from outside parties, enabling other businesses to become more efficient and reduce plastic going to landfill.
Our ethos as a business, investing in the future of our business and our environment places us in an advantageous and ethical position, which other plastics companies are finding a challenge, we aim to create a positive attitude towards plastic, and as a business endeavour to do this to create profitability.
